Frequently asked questions

Practical answers about ordering Class 8 parts, PayPal payment, shipping and LTL freight, returns and cores, fitment by part number or VIN, and how to reach us by email.

How to use this FAQ

This page covers the questions owner-operators and small fleets ask most often before they buy filters, brake and air parts, clutch and drivetrain components, suspension parts, lighting, cooling parts, cab hardware, or lubricants from A-One Truck Auto. Open any question for the short answer. The sections below also explain the same topics in plain language so you can scan without opening every item.

We sell parts online for delivery in the United States. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Payment is completed through PayPal; we do not collect payment card details on this site. Shipping is quoted for your address and approved by you before the carrier is booked. Unused parts can usually be returned within 30 days under the refund policy after you receive a return authorization by email. Manufacturer warranties, where offered, are pass-through from the manufacturer. We do not publish a public phone number; write to support@aonetruckauto.com and put a clear subject line.

Ordering in brief

Find the part by manufacturer number or interchange, confirm the fitment table, add the item to your cart, and check out with a U.S. ship-to address. You do not need a site account. Optional company name and purchase order fields help fleet buyers keep paperwork straight. After PayPal reports payment as completed, we review the order and email a shipping quote when freight or parcel cost still needs approval. Decline the quote and we cancel and refund. Change or cancel requests work best before a label is created.

Special orders and parts prepared to your specification are called out before we place them and are usually final sale unless they arrive defective. Core charges appear on the product page before you pay when they apply. Tax-exempt buyers should send a valid certificate before ordering.

Shipping and receiving in brief

Light parts ship by ground parcel. Heavy assemblies ship by LTL freight. Mixed orders may split. For freight, tell us about docks, liftgates, residential delivery, and who can meet the driver. Inspect every delivery before you sign; note damage or shortages on the freight receipt, photograph the condition, and email us promptly. We do not promise calendar delivery dates because carriers control transit.

Returns and warranty in brief

Request an RMA by email within 30 days of delivery for unused, uninstalled parts in original packaging. Electrical parts and opened filters have stricter rules. Cores need their own return process. If a part fails after install, we help with the manufacturer claim when the manufacturer offers coverage; we do not invent a separate store guarantee. Refunds approved after inspection go back through PayPal.

Ordering and accounts

The questions in this group cover ordering and accounts. Each answer matches the policies on this site. If something on a product page conflicts with a general answer, the product page and the written quote for your order control for that purchase.

How do I find the right part?

Start with the part number stamped or printed on the old part, not only the truck make and model. Search that number on this site, open the product page, and read the fitment table for make, model, engine, and years. Cross-check interchange numbers when your old part uses a different brand. If the number is worn off, email a clear photo of the old part, your VIN, and the engine serial number when you have it. We reply with the listing we believe matches or with questions if the photo is unclear. We sell parts only; a qualified technician should confirm fitment before installation.

Are your prices in U.S. dollars?

Yes. Every price on the catalog and product pages is in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is added where the law of the destination state requires it. Shipping is quoted separately for your address and approved by you before we book a carrier. Any difference between the amount you paid for parts and the final invoice for tax or freight is settled through PayPal before the order ships.

Do you sell only to businesses?

No. We sell to owner-operators, independent repair shops, and fleet maintenance teams. You do not need a business account to place an order. If you manage several trucks and want purchase-order ordering or consolidated invoices, email us to ask about a fleet account. Fleet terms are approved case by case and are not a published discount schedule.

Do I need an account to check out?

No. Checkout does not require creating a login. Your cart is stored in this browser with essential local storage so it stays available as you move between pages. At checkout you enter a shipping address and contact details, then pay through PayPal. Keep your PayPal receipt and our order emails for your records.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Email support@aonetruckauto.com as soon as possible with your order number or PayPal reference. If the order has not been released to a carrier, we can usually change the address, swap a part on the order, or cancel and refund. Once a label is created or freight is booked, changes may not be possible, and return rules in the refund policy apply instead.

Payment and sales tax

The questions in this group cover payment and sales tax. Each answer matches the policies on this site. If something on a product page conflicts with a general answer, the product page and the written quote for your order control for that purchase.

How do I pay?

You pay through PayPal. On a product page or at checkout, use the PayPal button after you choose to load payment. From the cart you can also open PayPal in a new tab. We do not collect payment card details on this site. PayPal handles the payment session on its own pages.

When is my order confirmed?

Your order is treated as paid when PayPal reports the payment as completed. You will see an order status page on our site, and PayPal sends you a receipt. We then review the order, quote shipping when needed, and prepare the shipment after you approve that quote.

Do you charge sales tax?

We charge sales tax where the law of the destination state requires it. If you are tax exempt, email a valid exemption certificate to support@aonetruckauto.com before you order so we can apply it. Sending a certificate after shipping does not automatically create a refund; we review those requests case by case.

Can I get a business or fleet invoice?

Yes. At checkout you may enter a company name and purchase order number. Those fields appear on the invoice we send. For recurring fleet purchases, email support@aonetruckauto.com with your company name, ship-to locations, and the parts you buy often. We can discuss standing parts sheets and consolidated invoicing. Terms are agreed in writing before they apply.

Shipping and freight

The questions in this group cover shipping and freight. Each answer matches the policies on this site. If something on a product page conflicts with a general answer, the product page and the written quote for your order control for that purchase.

How do you ship?

Small and light items such as filters, lamps, seals, and many sensors ship by ground parcel in cartons. Heavy or bulky items such as brake drums, clutch assemblies, and air dryer assemblies usually ship by LTL freight on a pallet or in a crate. Each product page indicates which method applies. An order that mixes both types may ship in more than one package or on more than one bill of lading.

How much is shipping?

We do not invent a flat rate at checkout. After you place an order, we quote shipping for your address and email the quote for your approval. We book the carrier only after you approve. If you decline the quote, we cancel the order and refund your payment in full through PayPal.

When will my order arrive?

We do not promise a delivery date. Transit time depends on the carrier, distance, weather, freight volume, and whether an LTL appointment is required. When a label is created, we email tracking information. If tracking stalls for several business days, write to us with the order number and we will open an inquiry with the carrier.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not at this time. We ship to addresses in the United States. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories may need different carriers and are quoted individually. If you arrange export yourself, we can quote freight to a U.S. carrier terminal or customs broker; export clearance remains your responsibility.

What should I know about LTL freight deliveries?

Tell us whether the address has a loading dock, is a shop or yard without a dock, is residential, or should hold at a terminal. Liftgate, residential delivery, inside delivery, and appointments can change the quote. Someone must be present to receive freight. Missed appointments can lead to redelivery or storage fees from the carrier, which are your responsibility under the shipping policy.

What if my freight shipment arrives damaged?

Inspect before you sign. Count pieces, look for damage to the pallet, crate, and parts, and note problems on the carrier delivery receipt before the driver leaves. Take photos, keep packaging, and email us right away. Without a notation, a carrier may deny a claim. Concealed damage found later should still be reported quickly so a claim can be filed.

What if items are missing from the delivery?

Compare the packing list or carton count with what you received before the driver leaves when possible. Note shortages on the delivery receipt for freight, take photos, and email support@aonetruckauto.com with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier or warehouse and arrange a reshipment or refund when the shortage is confirmed.

Returns, cores, and special orders

The questions in this group cover returns, cores, and special orders. Each answer matches the policies on this site. If something on a product page conflicts with a general answer, the product page and the written quote for your order control for that purchase.

What is your return policy?

Unused and uninstalled parts in original packaging can usually be returned within 30 days of the delivery date shown by the carrier. You must request a return authorization by email before you ship anything back. Read the refund policy for electrical parts, opened filters, cores, and special orders, which have extra rules.

How do I request an RMA?

Email support@aonetruckauto.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your name, order number or PayPal reference, the SKU, the reason for the return, and photos if the part is wrong or damaged. We reply with a return authorization number and packing instructions. Do not ship a part back without that number marked on the package.

Can I return electrical parts?

Electrical parts such as lamps, sensors, and similar items can be returned only while unused and uninstalled, with connectors and seals in new condition. Once an electrical part has been connected or powered, we cannot verify its condition, so it is not eligible for ordinary return unless it arrived defective. If you believe it arrived defective, email photos and a description of the fault.

Are there core charges?

If a core charge applies, the product page shows it before you pay. To receive the core refund, return the old part as instructed within the period stated on the product page, with the return authorization marked on the package. The core must be complete and free of excessive damage. We inspect it on arrival and refund approved cores to the original PayPal payment method.

How are refunds paid?

Approved refunds go back to the PayPal account that paid for the order after we inspect the returned part. Shipping charges are refunded only when the return is caused by our error, such as a wrong part shipped or incorrect fitment information. Your bank or PayPal may take additional time to show the credit after we issue it.

What if the part does not fit?

Email us within 30 days with your order number and photos of the old and new parts. If the part is unused and uninstalled, we will arrange a return under the refund policy. If we listed the wrong fitment, we cover return shipping. If the truck configuration differs from the catalog application, ordinary return shipping rules apply.

Fitment, warranties, privacy, and the store

The questions in this group cover fitment, warranties, privacy, and the store. Each answer matches the policies on this site. If something on a product page conflicts with a general answer, the product page and the written quote for your order control for that purchase.

Can you check fitment from a VIN?

Yes. Send your VIN, the engine serial number when available, the number on the old part, and a photo to support@aonetruckauto.com. We reply with the part we recommend or with clarification questions. VIN checks are a written email service; they are not a guarantee that every option package is captured, so compare the recommendation with the part you remove.

Do you offer installation or diagnostics?

No. We sell parts only. We do not provide installation, on-site service, or diagnostic labor. Use a qualified technician for installation and diagnosis. Our technical guides on the site are general information and do not replace service literature for your truck.

Are the parts new?

Each listing names the brand and part number of the item sold and describes what is in the box. Read the product page carefully. If you need confirmation that a listing is new unused stock before you order, email us with the SKU. Core-return programs involve returning your old unit; that does not mean the replacement you buy is remanufactured unless the listing says so.

What about special orders?

Some parts are sourced on request or cut or prepared to a specification you provide. We will tell you before we place a special order. Special orders are final sale unless they arrive defective, as stated in the refund policy.

How do manufacturer warranty claims work?

Where the manufacturer offers a warranty, it is a pass-through from that manufacturer, not a separate guarantee from us. Email support@aonetruckauto.com with the SKU, order number, install date and mileage, and a description of the failure. We help you submit the claim; the manufacturer decides coverage. We do not invent warranty lengths or promise outcomes the manufacturer does not offer.

How do you handle privacy and cookies?

We collect information you send on forms and during checkout, and essential browser storage for the cart and cookie choice. Optional analytics or advertising cookies load only if you accept them in the cookie banner. PayPal may set its own cookies when payment buttons load. Read the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details. Privacy requests go to support@aonetruckauto.com with “Privacy request” in the subject.

Who operates this store?

A-One Truck Auto is the trade name of HEAVY TRUCK PARTS, INC., a Florida Profit Corporation (Florida Document No. 497804, EIN 59-1673981), located at 3290 N.W. 36th Street, Miami, FL 33142. Questions about orders, parts, privacy, and legal notices all go to support@aonetruckauto.com. We do not publish a public phone number.

What should I put in the subject line of my email?

Use a clear subject so we can route the message: “Fitment” with the VIN or part number, “Order” with the order number, “RMA request”, “Shipping quote”, “Privacy request”, or “Legal notice” as needed. One address serves all topics: support@aonetruckauto.com. Include photos and numbers in the first message when you can; that usually shortens the back-and-forth.

Still need help?

Write to support@aonetruckauto.com or use the contact form. Include the VIN, engine serial number, old part number, order number when you have one, and photos. For privacy requests put “Privacy request” in the subject. For legal notices put “Legal notice” in the subject. We answer by email and keep a written record of fitment and order discussions.
