A-One Truck AutoClass 8 Parts

Shipping Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026.

This policy explains how HEAVY TRUCK PARTS, INC., doing business as A-One Truck Auto, ships parts, how shipping is priced, and what to do when your parts arrive. It is part of our Terms of Sale.

Where we ship

We ship to addresses in the United States. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories may need different carriers and are quoted individually. We do not ship internationally at this time. If you arrange export yourself, we can quote freight to a carrier terminal or customs broker in the United States.

Ground parcel and LTL freight

Light parts such as filters, sensors, lamps, seals, belts, and small brake parts ship by ground parcel carrier in cartons. Heavy or bulky parts, such as brake drums, clutch assemblies, and air dryer assemblies, ship by LTL freight on a pallet or in a crate. The product page shows which method applies to each item.

Orders with items in both categories can ship in more than one shipment, and you receive tracking information for each one.

How shipping is priced and approved

Shipping depends on weight, size, delivery address, and the services you need. We do not guess a rate at checkout. After you place an order, we quote the shipping cost for your address and email it to you. We book the carrier only after you approve the quote. If you decline the quote, we cancel the order and refund your payment in full.

If sales tax applies, we show it on the same email. Any difference between the amount you paid and the final invoice is settled through PayPal before the order ships.

Order processing and delivery times

We review each order, confirm fitment where needed, and prepare the shipment after the quote is approved. We do not guarantee processing or delivery dates. Carrier transit times depend on distance, weather, freight volume, and delivery appointment availability, and carriers can change them without notice. When your label is created, we email tracking information. If a shipment seems late, write to support@aonetruckauto.com with the order number and we will contact the carrier.

Freight delivery details

For LTL deliveries, tell us whether the address is a commercial location with a loading dock, a commercial location without a dock, a repair shop or truck yard, a residence, or a carrier terminal. Services such as liftgate, residential delivery, inside delivery, and delivery appointments can change the quote. The carrier usually calls or emails to schedule delivery, so give us a phone number and email where you can be reached.

Someone must be present to receive freight. If delivery fails because no one is available, the carrier may charge redelivery or storage fees, which are your responsibility.

Inspect on delivery

Check every package before you sign. For freight, count the pieces, look for damage to the pallet, crate, and parts, and note any problem on the carrier's delivery receipt before the driver leaves. If the damage is serious, you may refuse the shipment. Take photos and email us right away, and keep all packaging. Without a notation on the delivery receipt, a carrier may deny a claim.

Lost or delayed shipments

If tracking shows no movement for several business days, write to us and we will open an inquiry with the carrier. If a carrier confirms a shipment is lost, we reship the item or refund it, at your choice, when stock allows.

Address accuracy

Please enter a complete address with the ZIP code. If we ship to the address you enter and it is wrong, the carrier may charge correction fees or return the shipment, and you are responsible for those costs. Contact us before shipping if you need to change an address.

Packaging

We pack parts to protect them in transit. Heavy parts ship on a pallet or in a crate, and small parts ship in cartons with padding. Please keep the original manufacturer box, which is needed for a return.

Split shipments

An order that includes both light and heavy items may ship in more than one shipment, sometimes by different carriers. You approve one quote for the order, and you receive a separate tracking number for each shipment.

Receiving hours and contacts

Carriers deliver during the business hours of the receiving location. Give us the name and email of a person who can accept the delivery, and tell us about any gate codes, dock appointment rules, or yard instructions. Missed appointments can lead to extra fees from the carrier.

Weather and carrier service alerts

Storms, holidays, and network disruptions can delay carriers, and we cannot control those events. If we learn that a carrier has issued a service alert for your delivery area, we will tell you by email when it may affect your order.

Changes to an order after you approve shipping

Once a carrier is booked, changing the address, the delivery type, or the contents of an order can cost extra and may not be possible. Email us as soon as you know about a change. If the carrier has not picked up the shipment, we will try to change it and tell you about any new charge before we act.

Pickup

Pickup at a carrier terminal is available for freight on request. We do not offer pickup at our business address.

Taxes, duties, and customs

Sales tax is applied where the destination state requires it. If you export a shipment after delivery in the United States, duties, taxes, and customs clearance are your responsibility.

LTL appointments and accessorial services

Many Class 8 parts ship on a pallet. LTL carriers often require a delivery appointment for residential addresses, limited-access yards, and locations without a dock. When you check out, choose the delivery location type that matches the site so we can ask for liftgate, residential, or appointment service in the quote. If the quote assumes a dock and the driver finds a residential driveway, the carrier may rebill accessorial fees. Email us before delivery if the site details change.

Give us a working email and a phone number the carrier can use to schedule. That phone number is for delivery coordination; we do not publish a company phone number on this site. If the carrier cannot reach anyone and storage begins, those fees are usually charged to the consignee under the carrier tariff. We will forward notices we receive so you can respond quickly.

Liftgate, limited access, and terminal pickup

A liftgate lets the driver lower a pallet where there is no dock. Limited-access locations such as construction sites, farms, or gated yards may carry extra charges. Terminal pickup is available for many freight shipments: we consign the freight to a carrier terminal near you, and you collect it with a suitable vehicle. Terminal pickup can reduce residential fees but shifts handling responsibility to you at the terminal. Ask for that option in your shipping-quote reply if it fits your operation.

Address accuracy and corrections

Use a complete street address, suite or yard identifier, city, state, and ZIP code. Rural routes and truck stops need enough detail for the driver to find the gate. If we ship to the address you provide and it is wrong or incomplete, correction and return-to-sender charges from the carrier are your responsibility. Write to support@aonetruckauto.com before the label is created if you need to change the ship-to address.

Damaged or missing items after parcel delivery

For ground parcel, photograph the outer carton, the inner packing, and the part before you discard packaging. Email the order number, tracking number, and photos the same day when possible. We open a carrier inquiry or arrange a replacement or refund according to what the investigation shows. Keep the damaged goods until the claim is closed unless we tell you otherwise.

How shipping interacts with payment

Your PayPal payment for parts is captured when PayPal reports the payment as completed. Shipping and any sales tax that was not included in that capture are confirmed on the emailed quote or invoice. You approve the additional amount through PayPal before we book the carrier. Declining the quote cancels the order and triggers a full refund of amounts already paid for that order.
